Sharanja Devasundar is the author of Aswen Plays Ball, a Tamil-English children's book. The book is about her cousin, Aswen, who passed away in 2021. Proceeds from the book have been donated to charities in Sri Lanka, helping to buy food and school supplies for underprivileged communities in the country's north. She also visits schools in the GTA to talk about her writing process and book.
